Experienced IT Consultant (m\f) — job based in Luxembourg

Job Location: Luxembourg, Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Our Strategy & Operations consultants provide major financial institutions, large public entities and global organizations with customised solutions, both technical and organizational, in the most specialized IT fields, leveraging on the different strengths of our firm.

About the role

As an Experienced IT Consultant you will:

Determine functional requirements for application design
Design specifications and draw up technical documentation and reports
Build and test application and deploy activities
Develop and test detailed functional designs for business solution components
Participate in test planning and execution
Participate in feasibility studies
Prepare tenders and proposals; participate in some aspects of projects' management with a clear path to growing contribution
Participate in the supervising and training of more junior professionals

About you

Master degree level (BAC+4/5) in engineering or information technology
2 to 3 years' experience in a similar position
Knowledge in some FSI activities (such as Insurance)
Knowledge in one or more of these technology areas: WebSphere TX, E-Gen, WebMethods, BPM and related tools (BPEL)
Knowledge in Modelling (UML)
Ideally awareness of SOA, in governance or overall setup
Excellent interpersonal skills in order to establish solid working relationships with potential and existing clients
Proactive and dynamic, you pay attention to detail and have a client-orientated approach
Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) in French and English
International mobility is to be considered as a must
